Getting scuba certified
Scuba Coiba is a licensed PADI 5 Star Resort led by a team of Master Scuba Diver Trainers. For courses with theory we offer e-learning options that can be completed in advance, at home, at your own speed.
Discover Scuba Dives
No dive certification? No problem. Our experienced team can show you everything you need to know to safely visit our world beneath the waves.
- Trip duration approximately 7 hours (8:00 am – 3:00 pm)
- Essential skills in shallow water from a beach before a trial dive
- Second dive is a real fun dive of 40 to 45 minutes
- Maximum dive depth of 12 meters / 40 feet
PADI Open Water
The key to unlock a lifetime filled with dive adventures, anywhere in the world — the most popular international scuba-training course. Four open water dives, three days.
- Part 1: Knowledge development, e-learning available for $70.00
- Part 2: Confined water dives in pool-like conditions
- Part 3: Four open water dives to a maximum of 18 meters
- Day duration approximately seven hours (8:00 am – 3:00 pm)
PADI Advanced Open Water
Level up while you explore the deep. Build the skills to dive Coiba's more demanding sites, with currents, depth and big schooling life.
